Charming Mid 17th century six plank sword chest , very simple in design with its hinged lid and an unusual original scratch carved thistle decoration applied to the front of the piece.A nice looking item indeed with lots of character complimented also with a pleasing colour and patina throughout which all adds to this early chest which in turn represents a bit of 'Old England'.W110cm D38cm H55cm
