High Quality 19th Century Style library oak bookcase made by premier English furniture makers, 'Goodwin and Titchmarsh'. A well made item which could be used as either as a bookcase or indeed a grand country house style kitchen cupboard. Comprising of a four door astragal glazed bookcase top complete with panelled ends, and to the interior an all adjustable shelf arrangement, standing on a four drawer and fielded panel cupboard base, enclosing again a fitted shelf interior, terminating upon shallow bracket feet. All complimented with the original burnished brass handles, H shaped hinges and key hole escustions. A Beautifully made item with a well thought out choice of English solid oak timbers and a charming mellow waxed finish throughout, all capped off with handsome proportions throughout. A Simply stunning piece of furniture which would lend itself to a multitude of practical uses.
