Description
Pretty 19th century country made oak dresser, with a broad board canopy pot rack retaining its original mellow dark green applied decoration.The oak base has a planked top that comprises of 6 spacious drawers and also two large cupboards, which are also enhanced by the decorative mahogany bone and ebony inlays, and is complimented with the beautifully carved decorative mahogany 'barley twist' pillars which adorn the front corners of the base. All of which is supported by ogee bracket feet to the fore with square section oak supports to the rear.
A handsome looking dresser indeed, which is a highly practical piece of antique furniture. Well made and decorative in style, with a charming colour to its well polished mellow oak timbers.

ConditionNice and original some dipping to the boards on the top of the oak base, nothing serious and adds character to this very pretty looking Welsh dresser. Old repairs to the feet but as to be expected nothing serious.
