Charming Edwardian Signal box 'Down Line' Block instrument. This lovely period piece of Railwayana which is so called due to the instrument being used along with others in the signal box, to aid the signal man to ensure the safety of each train along designated stretches of line. Hence the term 'Block' Instrument.

This lovely period railway item that is well made, of good size and has character and charm which is evocative of the golden age of steam. And would make for a great talking point in either the home, or perhaps as a 'shop prop'
