Description

This is an Antique Georgian Mahogany table c1830-50. A great example of the cross over of styles from the Georgian Period to the Victorian period. A very pretty and practical table it folds up and goes away against a wall very well. The legs have three and four ring turnings showing the style from the George IV (1820-30) period William IV (1830-37). The little trim around the edge of the table is a clear Georgian decoration whilst the thumbnail edge moulding to the top is a clear Victorian design. A great piece from the days of Empire and they change from a rural Empire to the full industrialisation of our Nation.
