Attractive rosewood cylinder writing desk with floral marquetry inlays. Ideal as a ladies desk and exceptionally pretty and practical

this desk is french and dates from around the 1900. S it stands on substantial cabriole legs and has ormolu mounts and a pierced gallery on the top. The back is veneered in rosewood but is not inlaid. The desk is in fine condition and as original as can can be found. It still retains a mellow antique patina and we have just waxed and polished it.
