Dating to the end of the 19th century, this German solid pine wardrobe is in very good condition and will knock down flat for ease of getting it upstairs....
Standing on turned feet, the wardrobe has 2 plinth drawers which is constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and have their original plate handles.
To the inside there is a full width hanging rail fitted which is enclosed with a pair of panel doors complete with original escutcheons and working lock with key. This is complimented with a traditional carved and pedimented ogee cornice.......
This is a lovely piece of German furniture which would compliment the bedroom of any home traditional or modern.
​There has in the past been a tiny amount of insect attack to the wardrobe but this is minimal and has been sprayed with a 20 year treatment.
The wardrobe measures
47.5 inches wide / 50.25 outside of cornice
21.25 inches deep / 22.75 outside of cornice / 19.5 inches internal
75 inches high.
