Description

Dating to the early part of the 19th century and being crafted in solid oak, this stunning small French armoire / cupboard is in very good sturdy condition with only minor historical restoration (repairs to feet).
Standing on stub feet, the armoire has 3 later shelves to the inside which are enclosed with a pair of fine moulded panel doors complete with working lock and original pin hinges and key escutcheons.
​This is all complimented with a traditional lift off ogee cornice.
This is a lovely piece of French furniture and would compliment the room of any home traditional or modern.
​There has in the past been a small amount of historical insect attack to the back of the armoire which although dead has been sprayed with a 20 year treatment..
The armoire measures
45 inches wide / 49.75 outside of cornice
19.5 inches deep max / 22 outside of cornice / 17.5 inches internal
72 inches high over all.
