Description

Dating to circa 1900, this Edwardian walnut wardrobe will break down in to 4 sections, the plinth, 2 main sections and cornice.
The wardrobe is in good condition but commensurate with it's age, it does have some minor marks and scratches.....
To the left section there are 3 drawers to the bottom which are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and all have their original brass handles. Above this there is an open niche followed by a cupboard section with single shelf. This is enclosed with a fielded panel door complete with original working lock and later sprung catches. The key to this lock also fit the main mirror door.
​The right hand section has a hanging rail to the inside and is enclosed with a full mirror door with original lock and later sprung catches. Below this there is a further drawer.
​This is all complimented with a traditional lift off cornice section.
This is a lovely piece of English furniture which would compliment the bedroom of any home traditional or modern..
The wardrobe measures
46.75 inches wide / 50.25 to outside of cornice
19.25 inches deep / 21 to outside of cornice / 17.75 inches internal
81.75 inches high.
