Description

A large and impressive antique Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany open bookcase. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1890-1910 period.

It is of superb quality and is a great size. It is very wide, not too high and not too deep, so though it contains lots of storage space & will hold loads of books, it is not too imposing. There are three adjustable shelves in each section, and there is lovely satin wood inlay around the top and front edges.

We have had this stripped and re-polished, it is in lovely condition for its age. The mahogany has a gorgeous colour tone and has acquired a beautiful patina over the years.

Please check the length, because it’s very long & will take up a lot of wall space.

Width – 102 inches , 259 cm
Depth – 12 inches , 31 cm
Height – 54 inches , 137 cm
