Description

A stunning antique burr walnut leather top desk / writing table. This is in the Queen Anne style, it was made in England and dates from around the 1900-1920 period.

It is of superb quality and is a great size, with plenty of working space. The inset leather top is hand coloured with tooled edges, the desk top is also nicely cross banded and has intricate carving around the edges. There are gorgeous burr walnut grain patterns, the drawers have high quality brass handles and fine hand cut dovetailed joints. This sits on elegant yet sturdy cabriole legs with acanthus leaf carving at the knees, the back is also nicely finished so this can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent throughout.
