Description

A superb antique burr walnut chest of drawers, this was made in England, and dates from around the 1900-1910 period.

It is of amazing quality, with a beautiful serpentine shaped front and stunning burr walnut grain patterns. This sits on short cabriole legs with shell carving at the knees, the top and drawer fronts are nicely cross banded. There are high quality brass handles and escutcheons, the drawers are solid wood lined and have fine, hand cut dovetailed joints.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is very good for its age. There are just some minor old marks here and there remaining beneath the polish.
