Description

A magnificent antique burr walnut side table or desk in the Queen Anne style. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1920’s period.

It is of superb quality, with stunning and intricate carving around all the edges, on the tops & bottoms of the legs. The sides are serpentine shaped and this is finished on all sides, so can be used as a free standing item. We obtained this from a London mansion, where it was being used as a hall table, although it could equally be used as a desk. We have the matching pair of elbow chairs that came with it, seen listed under our other items for sale

The table top has gorgeous burr walnut grain patterns, we have just had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
