A very smart and extremely well made antique Victorian mahogany writing table / desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.

The quality is outstanding, this is a very useful size and looks amazing from all angles. The back is nicely polished so this can be used as a free standing item. It sits on beautifully turned solid mahogany legs, there is a gorgeous inset leather top which has been hand coloured and gold tooled around the edges. The handles have been replaced at some point over the years, the handles are also antique and are lovely quality, complimenting the desk very well.

We have had this recently re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age.
