Description

A wonderful original George III period snap top table in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1790-1810 period.

This is of lovely quality and is a useful size. The mahogany has acquired a gorgeous colour tone and patina, the top can be tilted up with an original brass catch mechanism. This table sits on a solid mahogany splayed tripod base, it is sturdy and sound.

There is lots of old wear and character on the table top, we have had this re-polished and revived, the condition is very good for its age.
