A stunning antique French gilt wood marble top console table. This was made in France, it dates from around the 1890-1910 period.

It is of fantastic quality and is a lovely size. The base has a single front leg with a beautiful cabriole design, the weight is supported on the front legs and the back rests against a wall. There are holes in the back of the frame for the back to be screwed to the wall to keep it from falling down. The gorgeous marble top sits loose on top of the frame.

This is in excellent condition for its age, with just the right amount of surface wear and patina to the gilt finish.
