Description

A fantastic original antique Victorian bookcase in mahogany, with waterfall shaped sides. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880’s.

It is very well made and is a useful size, quite slim from front to back so its not too imposing. The middle shelf is fixed, the lower and upper shelves are adjustable. This sits on a plinth base and has a lovely serpentine shaped gallery on the upper back.

We have had this recently re-polished, it is in very good condition for its age. There are various small marks and indentations here and there beneath the polish, commensurate for age.
