A top quality antique burr walnut writing bureau. This was made in England by Maple & Co, it dates from around the 1900-1910 period.

It is extremely well made and is a very useful item. There is a good sized leather top work space, internal drawers and pigeon holes that are revealed when the flap is pulled down. There are also three generous drawers in the lower section.

The colour tones and burr walnut grain patterns are gorgeous throughout. We have had this recently stripped and re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
