Description

A lovely antique chest on chest of drawers in mahogany. This was made in England in the Georgian style & dates from around the 1930’s.

It is a very useful size, fairly compact and slim yet still offering plenty of storage space. The mahogany has a lovely patina, the drawers and top edges are cross banded with fine satin wood inlaid borders. The corners are canted and this sits on nicely splayed bracket feet.

We have had this recently re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age, with some light wear and old marks here and there beneath the polish.
