Description

A very attractive antique burr walnut compact desk, known as a knee hole desk. This was made in England, it is based on a 18th century Georgian design and this one dates from around the 1930’s period.

It is of lovely quality, with stunning burr walnut grain patterns throughout. The top is cross banded with inlaid herringbone borders, it sits on bracket feet and has lovely original brass handles.

There is lots of storage space inside the seven drawers and lockable central cabinet, the back is also nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item.

We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
