Description

A beautifully carved antique plant stand in solid oak. This was made in England & dates from around the 1880-1890 period.

The quality is amazing, with impressive barley twist legs and carved knights head motifs on the sides. There is the original copper bucket inside the top for plants, this could also be used as an ice / champagne bucket.

The condition is excellent for its age with only some extremely minor wear here and there. There is one small bracket missing between the top of one of the legs & the bottom of the box. However you wouldn’t really notice unless you really looked for it.

This very impressive piece is Jacobean style & I just love the deeply carved knights heads.
