Description

A large and impressive antique Victorian mahogany open bookcase. This was made in England, it originally dates from around the 1860-1880 period.

It was in very bad shape when we obtained it, it has been partially re-constructed by our restoration team. The top and the back section have been completely rebuilt and replaced, most of the original carcass and the carved corbels are original.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent and it retains a charming overall patina.
