Description

A stylish and iconic vintage pair of vintage Italian Cesca dining chairs, originally designed by Marcel Breuer in the 1920’s. These were made in Italy, they date from around the 1970’s.

They are of outstanding quality, and are very comfortable, the cantilevered tubular steel frames gives them a nice gentle spring. The backs and seats are caned, the seats are stamped ‘made in Italy’.

The condition is excellent for their age, they are clean, sturdy and sound. We have had the black frames revived and polished, there is just some extremely minor wear here and there, with no damage to the cane.
