Description

An exceptional vintage rosewood sideboard by Robert Heritage for Archie Shine. This was made in London, it dates from the 1960’s.

This was part of the “Berkshire” range, distinctive for the copper inlays on the top drawers depicting feather motifs. There are magnificent rosewood grain patterns on the front, the top, sides and legs are a beautiful contrasting mahogany. The colour and grain patterns are absolutely stunning throughout. There is lots of space inside, with four generous upper drawers and lower cabinets containing shelves and a bank of internal drawers.

This is of absolutely amazing quality, and is in superb condition for its age. We have had this stripped and re-polished to the highest standard.

The rosewood is Santos rosewood, which does not need a CITES or article 10 certificate.
