A superb antique burr walnut writing bureau, made in England and dating from the 1920-30’s.

It is of outstanding quality, with a beautiful and practical design. The burr walnut grain patterns are gorgeous, this stands on cabriole legs with shell carving at the knees and in the centre. The interior is fitted out with an inset leather writing surface, there are internal drawers and pigeon holes, with two larger drawers beneath the work top.

We have had this stripped and re-polished to a high standard, the condition is excellent for its age.
