A fantastic antique Victorian mahogany writing table / desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1870 period.

It is of outstanding quality, it stands on beautifully turned legs with brass casters, the drawers have nicely turned handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. The back is also nicely finished so this can be used as a free standing item. The inset green leather top has gold tooling around the edge, and compliments the mahogany tone beautifully.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age with just some minor historical wear beneath the polish here and there.
