Description

An absolutely stunning antique French Louis XVI ormolu mounted marble top commode. This was made in France and dates from around the 1780-1800 period.

It is of outstanding quality, it displays a combination of inlaid fruitwoods and tulipwood, with gorgeous gilt metal ormolu mounts. There is a pierced gallery top which holds the marble in place. This is a useful and petite size, yet offers plenty of storage space.

The condition is excellent for its age, having recently been French polished.
