Description

A very small and fine quality antique George III bow fronted chest of drawers in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1790-1810 period.

It is very well made and has lovely, very useful proportions. The mahogany has a gorgeous colour tone and patina, this has brass ring pull handles and sits on splayed bracket feet.

We have had this re-polished, it is in very good condition for its age. There are various small marks and indentations here and there beneath the polish, commensurate for age.

Original period Georgian chests of such small proportions are very rare.
