An absolutely stunning pair of antique Swedish Biedermeier Satinwood armchairs. They were recently imported from Sweden, they date from around the 1870-1890 period.

The quality is outstanding, they have an amazing shell back design with gorgeous satin wood grain patterns throughout. The paneled backs have ebonised wood beading around the top edges, the back rests curve round beautifully into scrolled armrests at the front.

They are sturdy, well sprung and comfortable, the condition is superb throughout. We have had the frames re-polished and re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric.
