Description

A fantastic George III period mahogany chest of drawers. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1790-1810 period.

It is of outstanding quality, it is very heavy and well built. It’s a great size with lots of storage space inside the generous drawers. There are lovely brass handles and escutcheons, which are original. It has a useful brushing slide under the top & this sits on bracket feet.

The mahogany has a gorgeous colour tone and patina, we have just had this re-polished, the condition is great for its age. There are various small marks and indentations beneath the polish, commensurate for age.

Width – 42 inches , 107 cm
Depth – 23 inches , 58 cm
Height – 33 inches , 84 cm
