A stunning antique Edwardian inlaid mahogany duet stool. This was made in England, it dates from the 1900-1910 period.

It is of superb quality and has a gorgeous design. It would have been intended as a piano stool, it would work very well as a window seat, as an ottoman at the end of a bed or in various other settings around the home. The solid mahogany frame has beautiful satin wood inlays, it is nicely finished on all sides, so can be used as a free standing item. The seat lifts up to reveal a good amount of storage space inside.

We have had this re-polished and re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric, the condition is excellent for its age.
