Description

A magnificent antique deep buttoned leather Chesterfield sofa. This was made in England, we would date it to around the 1920’s.

It is of outstanding quality, this is extremely well built and heavy. It has crisp horse hair stuffing, it is very comfortable and supportive. This is one of this finest examples you could come across.

We have had the leather hand coloured and revived, it has a gorgeous colour tone and patina. The mahogany bun feet have been re-polished, this is in excellent condition for its age. There is just one very small historical repair to the leather on the underside of one arm, hardly noticeable or visible at all in real life, but seen in the images.
