Description

A smart and beautifully made antique neo classical style mahogany open bookcase. It was made in England, and dates from around the 1930’s.

The quality is superb, this has a lovely breakfront design and is a very useful size. The proportions are nice and slim, yet with plenty of storage space. There are gilt bronze mounts across the top section and four reeded uprights with bronze sphinx heads and feet. It is polished inside and sits on a plinth base.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. The mahogany has a gorgeous colour tone and patina.
