Description

This Arts & Crafts chest of graduated drawers is made of ash and has a few Gothic flourishes in the form of the chamfering, moulding and handles. Solidly constructed, the drawers are dovetailed and have pine linings and bottoms. It dates to c.1880.

It measures 104cm high, 107cm wide and 53cm deep. The drawers vary from 16cm to 23cm high.

It is in good overall condition, structurally sound and with smooth running drawers, with a few marks in keeping with its age. The bottom left handle has had the piece that connects the drop handle to the drawer front sympathetically replaced.
