Description
With an elegant mahogany frame of turned uprights and spindles, as well as curved arms and side seat rails, this Arts & Crafts armchair has a moveable steel rod to adjust the angle of the back and stands on castors. The two loose cushions are upholstered in a modern blue and white floral fabric by Raoul.It has no maker's mark but appears in Shapland & Petter catalogues of the period.
It measures 103cm high, 71cm wide and 104cm deep.
The frame is in very good condition, with replacement castors and seat rod, and the cushions are new.
