Description

This dining table is made of solid, adzed oak and the chairs are also oak with studded hide seats. The table has a three-plank top and shaped plank sides, standing on sledge feet, that are united by a pegged stretcher that is carved with the signature acorn of Acorn Industries, founded by former Mouseman apprentice Alan 'Acornman' Grainger in 1957. Each chair also has a carved acorn as well as shaped seat rails, chamfered uprights and exposed pegs.

The table measures 182.5cm long, 75.5cm wide and 74cm high.

The chairs stand 85cm high and 42.5cm wide. The seat rails are 45cm high.

The table is in good condition with the top having been refinished to a slightly darker shade than the legs. The chairs are in good and solid condition, a couple with some watermarks to the frames and the hide.
