This Arts & Crafts oak bureau bookcase has an extravagantly pierced three-quarter gallery above a fall front, a shelf and a double cupboard. The handles and hinges are made of brass and it has a fitted interior. The metalware bears an oriental motif and the bat, pierced into the gallery, is a far eastern symbol of happiness.It measures 68cm wide, 32cm deep and 133.5cm high.
It is in very good, refinished condition.
