Description

This Art Deco-influenced chair was retailed by Heal's in the 1930s. It has stylishly curved arms and both the seat and the back are sprung and covered in a Fortuny woollen fabric called Rondo in the colour burnt orange. Unlabelled, it appears in the Heal's catalogues of the 1930s as design number S394.

It measures 71cm high, 61cm wide and 92cm deep. The front of the seat is 35cm above the floor.

It is in good and original conditon with a couple of knocks to the underside of one arm. It has been newly reupholstered using the original springs.
