Description

This Arts & Crafts tallboy is made of oak and comprises a double cupboard above an arrangement of two short and four long, graduated drawers. It has an oversailing cornice, arched panelled doors, coppered brass handles, planished keyplates and stands on turned legs. It is very well made out of solid oak, including the drawer linings and bottoms, and the top lifts off the base for ease of movement.

It measures 168cm tall, 50.5cm deep and 111cm wide.

It is in good condition having been cleaned and repolished where necessary. The first long drawer has a mark in the middle (see sixth photograph) and one brass backplate has very minor, barely visible damage behind the handle. It has a key for the cupboards but not the drawers.
