1950s Dressing Table by Alfred Cox

Description
Designed and manufactured by Alfred Cox, this dressing chest is made of well-figured walnut veneer with splayed beech legs. It comprises six drawers with turned wooden knobs, the two at either end angling outwards towards the sides. It has a large tilting mirror with a curved top.It measures 137cm high (72cm high excluding the mirror), 46.5cm deep and 124cm wide.
It is in good and original condition with a small dark mark beneath one handle (see photograph), a faint watermark to the top and minor imperfections elsewhere.
