Description

A variation of the classic 1930s book table, this dark-stained version stands on a four-footed base that allows it to revolve. It has eight shelves in total and the plank sides, of well-figured and solid oak, have stepped and grooved decoration. Very much in the style associated with Heal's, this example was probably made by Bowman Brothers of Camden Town.

The top is 49cm square and it is 55cm high.

It is in good, refinished condition with a few old scratches under the polish on the top. It has the original revolving mechanism and this functuons perfectly.
