An Arts & Crafts Mahogany Porter's Chair

Description
This stylised version of a porter's chair is made of mahogany and has classic Arts & Crafts features such as the raised and finialled uprights, tapering front legs and pad feet. The seat, sides and back have been upholstered in fern-patterned Elsie de Wolfe fabric by Scalamandre.It measures 110cm high, 67.5cm wide and 63.5cm deep. The seat rail is 39.5cm high.
The frame is in very good condition, having been stripped and repolished, and it has been newly reupholstered.
