Description

This sofa bed was designed and made by Toothill in the 1960s. It is constructed of afromosia wood with copper piping to support the side tables and the back rest. The side tables swing outwards to create a larger seating area or, with the back swiveled outwards, the whole cushion can be used as a mattress.

It measures 211cm wide (242cm with side tables extended), 83cm deep and 84cm high.

In very good restored and reupholstered condition with new cushions and Pirelli webbing. The only imperfections are that one side table is not quite level (see last image) and the top of the seat rail has a row of barely visible small holes where fabric was erroneously once stapled.
