Description

Made in the Cotswold School style, this Arts & Crafts dresser of well-figured oak has an arrangement of shelves and plate racks above three drawers, two cupboards and an alcove. The base has an unusual parquetry panelled top and the bevelled drawers and cupboard doors have shaped wooden handles, the latter of which slide in and out of position. The drawers are cedar-lined and the back is planked.

It measures 180cm high, 149.5cm wide and 55cm deep.

It is in very good and original condition with a few old watermarks. Some of the parquetry panels on the top have separated slightly and the cedar drawer bottoms have split in places but all is still sound and attractive.
