Marvellous Furniture

Description

This large and imposing bookcase is made entirely of solid, well figured oak and has stylish Arts & Crafts metal handles. It has a double cupboard with a fixed shelf and panelled doors below glazed leaded doors that open to reveal three adjustable shelves. The back is panelled. It is unlabelled but the handles are a classic Liberty design and it appears in Liberty catalogues dating to 1907.

230.5cm high, 107cm wide and 38cm deep.

In very good and original condition with a key for the locks. There is a repaired and barely visible old crack to the top of one side.
