An Arts & Crafts Reclining Armchair

Description
This Arts & Crafts armchair is made of oak and has two loose cushions on a seat that reclines by sliding forwards along a groove in the frame. It has turned spindles beneath curved arms and turned legs with brass castors. It is upholstered in pale green fabric and a brass rod supports the back. The design appears in Shapland & Petter catalogues of the Arts & Crafts period.68cm wide, 101cm high and 81cm deep.
In very good condition having been refinished and with replacement cushions newly upholstered.
