Description

This Arts & Crafts oak desk has a superstructure with two leaded, glazed doors either side of a fall front writing slope. When this is down, an internal mechanism allows the six drawers to be opened. The desk has shaped feet typical of the Arts & Crafts style, sinuous coppered hinges and handles and two pull-out book rests. Both the fitted interior and the drawer linings are all made of oak.

It measures 130cm wide, 120cm high and 53cm deep. The kneehole is 40.5cm wide and 72.5cm high.

It is in very good condition with the original finish cleaned and revived. It has its key and the Stones Patent locking mechanism for the drawers is intact and functional.
