Description

This Art Deco partners' desk is superbly crafted out of an extravagantly figured walnut and has ebonised handles and plinth. It has geometric marquetry to either side and there is a different configuration of drawers and cupboards to front and back. It has classic Art Deco stepped design and to one side of the leather top there is an extending slide to increase the surface area.

DateArt Deco Dimensions124cm wide, 77cm high and 78cm deep. The kneehole is 56cm wide and 62cm high. ConditionIn very good condition with the original finish having had a clean and polish. It has its original locks and key. The handles and plinth have been re-ebonised where necessary and a couple of handles have minor losses that are in no way unsightly. The leather top has character, or some wear and staining as it is otherwise known, but could easily be replaced if required.
