Description

Made of solid oak, with ebonised edges and feet, the adjustable shelves of this bookcase are housed behind three glazed doors with shaped oak handles. Of classic 1930s design, the simple outline is enlivened by a step on the top. It bears a label for Henry Barker's department store in Nottingham.

Date1930s Dimensions91cm wide, 89.5cm high and 32.5cm deep. ConditionIn very good and original condition. It has been cleaned and repolished to bring out the rich brown colour of the wood.
