19th Century French rosewood and ormolu cylinder bureau on four cabriole legs, with one long drawer which when you open it the cylinder opens and you flip the fall over which rests on the open drawer to reveal a green leather writing surface and three small drawers, there are also three small drawers below the top which has a brass gallery. A lovely feature of this bureau is the Angelica Kaufman style painting of an idyllic French country scene with figures and a church in a wooded landscape. Circa 1890.31” x 21 1/2” x 42 1/2” high
